Our Club
We are the first Australian Chapter of an international, not for profit body, being the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors. Founded in 1973 in Sydney, we have a diverse group of approximately 180 members who range from active professionals to those with a general interest in collecting, repairing or restoring watches, clocks and associated items.
The international body
Established in 1942, the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors (NAWCC) has its headquarters in Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA. This provides the infrastructure for approximately 180 associated local and special purpose chapters (or branches) worldwide. At the NAWCC headquarters in USA there is the museum, library and research centre, where an extensive reference collection is available in researching horological topics.
